Workshop: Salt Printing with Leanne McPhee
Analogue Lab, Adelaide
10 May 2014
An introduction to salt printing. Known for its beautiful warm to cool brown tones, the salt print has a self-masking ability that produces the longest tonal range of all the photographic print processes.
The workshop will cover suitable negatives, paper choice, sensitisers and binders, coating methods, and exposing and processing, including gold toning.
Bring 4 × 5 large format negatives on the day. Digital negatives can be made from your files prior to the workshop.
