Summer School 2015: Art and Photography with Robert Billington

Learn to interpret your photography through the art of American Norman Rockwell and the Australian landscape, using live models, props and mirrors, putting an Aussie twist to his iconic paintings. You will be photographing in antique shops, historic buildings and using painted backdrops. You will need to have a good understanding of how a camera operates – digital SLR or film camera with changeable lens from wide angle to short telephoto is required.

Robert Billington has won over 100 awards in Australia and UK, including the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award in 1988 and 1992. Robert’s work is exhibited and published in Australia, South East Asia, New York, London, Europe and included in the worldwide M.I.L.K exhibition as well as in state and national gallery collections.
